About
Making medical time available where it is scarce
Doto is built in Cotonou by Ydrus Software. We are building the appointment infrastructure for healthcare in French-speaking Africa, starting with Benin.
What we believe
The problem is not a lack of software. It is a lack of medical time. Every lost slot is a consultation that will never exist. Doto exists so that no slot is lost, and so that the patient has nothing to install to benefit from it.
Why the agenda first
Benin has 0.22 doctors per 1,000 inhabitants (World Bank, indicator SH.MED.PHYS.ZS, 2023). Every missed consultation is one nobody else will have. We started with the tool that fills the agenda and reminds the patient, before anything else.
